Our recent graduates have found careers at companies including IBM, AT&T, Google, Intel, Microsoft, Qualcomm and eBay and faculty positions at UC Irvine, University of Massachusetts, Case Western Reserve University, George Mason University, Florida Atlantic University, University of Arizona and Northeastern University.

Google Day - After hiring 7 of our Ph.D. students over the last 2 years, Google decided to further their relationship with CSE @ UCR and directly concentrate on recruiting more of our students, in an event nicknamed Google Day. Check out some pictures of the event.

Mirosoft Tech Talk - After recently hiring two CSE graduate students, Microsoft has also decided to partner with CSE @ UCR to recruit M.S. and Ph.D. students. They currently provide exclusive employment opportunities for both internship and full-time candidates, for summer and post-graduation. The first 'Microsoft Tech Talk' took place on Friday, October 10, 2008 and was a huge success.

UCR has recently been reported on the US News and World Report 'Best Colleges: Up-and-Coming National Universities' List. According to US News and World Report, "College presidents, provosts, and admissions deans were asked to nominate up to 10 colleges in their U.S. News America's Best Colleges ranking category "that are making improvements in academics, faculty, students, campus life, diversity, and facilities. These schools are worth watching because they are making promising and innovative changes. This item on the peer survey enabled college officials to pick schools within their ranking category that are rapidly evolving in ways that the public should be aware of and that are not always quickly noticeable in a college's year-to-year rankings."
