The USENIX Security work done by PhD student Weiteng Chen and Prof. Zhiyun Qian got covered by ACM TechNews and Communications of ACM. The vulnerability allows a blind attacker to hijack TCP connections initiated behind Wi-Fi routers. The attack leveraged a fundamental design of Wi-Fi --- half-duplex --- which is unlikely to be fixed in the next 5 years.  The work was also previously demonstrated at GeekPwn.
