UCR researchers join DOE effort to speed scientific discovery
Two UC Riverside computer scientists are joining federally funded projects that use artificial intelligence to accelerate scientific discovery. Their work will focus on making quantum computing faster and more reliable and building smarter networks for sharing scientific data and research resources.

CSE instructors Kelly Downey and Harini Venkatesan receive Academy of Distinguished Teachers honorable mentions
Two CSE instructors received honorable mentions from UC Riverside's Academy of Distinguished Teachers (ADT) on May 20th. Kelly Downey was awarded an honorable mention for the Lecturer Award, and Harini Venkatesan was awarded an honorable mention for the Graduate Student–Postdoc Instructor of Record Award.
