Professor Tao Jiang has been elected an ISCB Fellow

ISCB (the International Society for Computational Biology) is the leading professional society in the world for computational biology and bioinformatics. Its prestigious Fellows program was introduced in 2009 to honor members that have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to the fields of computational biology and bioinformatics. The selection of new Fellows each year is limited to 1/2 of one percent of the previous year's membership. Professor Tao Jiang was recently inducted into the 2024 class of ISCB Fellows for his pioneering algorithmic research on some fundamental combinatorial optimization
problems in computational biology and bioinformatics that has helped shape the fields.

More details about the new class of Fellows can be found in the ISCB press release: https://www.iscb.org/iscb-news-items/5232-march-8-2024-iscb-congratulates-and-introduces-the-2024-class-of-fellows
