The CSE hosted local high school students for the 3rd annual CS4ALL Code Camp. Two sessions were offered, Session 1 (June 24th - 28th) and Session 2 (July 8th - 12th), led by CSE lecture Kelly Downey. The students learned about fundamental computer science concepts and how to create Android Apps using MIT App Inventor. The camp also included other activities, such as research presentations by UCR faculty and workshops at the Creat'R Lab. Each student received a free Kindle Fire to continue learning beyond the classroom.
