Our department and faculty are interested in partnering with the community to make impact in the Inland Empire, California, and beyond. We welcome opportunities to engage, whether these include giving lectures or consulting on curriculum development with K-12 schools, providing technical expertise or consultation to local industry, government or the press, or other opportunities for collaboration and engagement.

One of our successful ongoing outreach activities is the Summer Code Camp which is described below.
Summer Code Camp 2019
Session 1: June 24th - 28th
Session 2: July 8th - 12th
Each session will run all day (8:00AM—5:00PM) with multiple activities planned throughout the week.
How much does it cost to sign-up?
Its completely FREE and you don't need to purchase anything!
Who is this Code Camp for?
This code camp is designed for students with NO programming experience. In the future, we hope to offer more advanced courses for students who have prior coding experience.
What will the Code camp cover?
The code camp will introduce students to programming using MIT App inventor. Students will create Android apps and learn about basic Computer Science concepts.
Can I sign-up for both sessions?
No. Session 2 is a duplicate of Session 1 so you can only sign-up for one of the sessions.

Submit an application to the Summer coding camp by April 24th!!
Please complete this Google Form to indicate your interest in participating in the Summer Coding Camp. You will be asked to provide your contact information and include a short essay on why you would like to participate in the Code Camp.
We will reach out to you via email to let you know the status of your application within 2 week of the deadline.
